Day 3 - White Water Rafting and Visiting Uncle Tom

Today was awesome!!!!!!  I must say so far Sonoma / Napa Valley and today are by far the most awesome things so far we have done!!!.  We woke up and had the continental breakfast before checking out of the hotel today.  I made waffels!!!  Their breakfast was great.  We are hoping to do this as much as possible.
We had to drive to the next hotel to at least drop our stuff off before going to the white water rafting place.  They said if you leave stuff in your car, it could get broken into. After my rental was broken into about a week ago, I didn't want to take any chances.
We arrived at Hyatt Place in Roseville, CA.  They let us check in to our room at 10:30am!!  The hotel is so far the best we stayed in yet.  There is a whole sectional as soon as you walk in the room.  It kind of makes you feel like  home.
Once we checked in, we left for the white water rafting area.  We stopped at the American River Pizza Place for some salad and pizza.
We arrrived at the Tributary White Water Rafting place shortly after 12:30pm. We were supposed to be there by 1pm. Of course, we waited until about 1:40pm for 5 people to come.  Once we got on the river, it started off a little slow.  Eventually it picked up to class 3 rapids.  We had so much fun.  Though as cold as the water was, at least we managed to stay in the boat.  Temps got up to almost 90 degrees, which was awesome and a nice change from San Francisco.
Once that was over, we came back, showered, changed, and met my uncle and his girlfriend and her son at BJ's Brewery and Restaurant.  There were so many things on the menu I didn't know where to begin.  They all looked delicious!!!  It was so great to see my Uncle Tom and meet his girlfriend and her son.  They gave us lots of ideas for thinks to see and places to go in Tahoe.  I made sure we got pictures.  Then he gave me the two boxes I sent to him once we left.
He may go to Tahoe with us tomorrow. Not sure yet on that one.  I am just happy to have gotten to spend some time with him.
